My family and I had an amazing spring break at Rachel’s house. The easy access to the beach and amenities were perfect for our group!

This was a great place for us to stay at with our friends! Plenty of room and the upgrades to the place compared to the pictures are amazing!

This is the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. It was the most well stocked, and also very clean and beautifully decorated. Our group of 13 had a lovely time together and ample room for gathering, cooking, eating, sleeping.

We had an amazing time well spent with all my family (us, my kids, and grandkids). Rachael’s place was kid friendly! The layout of the home was perfect. Open floor plan that allowed my whole family to sit and talk as well as all eat dinner at one table! I really recommend her place!

We had a great stay. This house had everything our group needed. Very well stocked kitchen. The beach was very close and we had a great time. We will definitely keep it in mind for future stays.

We'd give this home 10 stars if we could! What an incredible space to spend a long weekend. It's minutes from the beach, spacious yet comfortable, and filled with the amenities you want from a fully stocked kitchen to a hot tub AND a sauna. There were 11 adults and two kids and we had more than enough room. There were toys and supplies for the little ones, a beach wagon, a fire pit. So much careful attention and thought has been put into this home. It's well organized, tastefully decorated, and up-to-date. Rachael was an absolute pleasure to have as our host. Rachael’s home was an amazing stay! Close to the beach, very clean and felt like home. Amenities were amazing to include sauna, hot tub and cold plung. House was well stocked with everything from zip lock bags to sand toys and chairs for the beach. We have never stayed at a better home with a better host! Highly recommended!

Lovely home, stocked with everything we needed. Rachael is very generous stocking the place with plenty of towels, beach towels, house toys and beach toys for the kids. All the supplies you might need, paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent. There was more than enough of everything for our week long stay. Just a short path to the beach!!

Our stay at Rachael”s beach house went beyond our expectations! This was our 20th annual girls getaway and we all agreed this was our favorite. Beautiful comfortable home and lovely sandy beach. Rachael has thought of everything to make a stay there fabulous and stress free with extra thoughtful touches. We can’t wait to come back!

Quiet neighborhood, easy walk to the beach, which had very few people on it, which was a good thing. The kitchen was extremely well appointed and the beds and linens were very comfortable. Rachel kept us in the loop and gave us good preparation in her emails.

This our second time staying with Rachael and somehow our visit was even better than our first stay. Perfect location and space for get togethers. Super clean and stocked for all your needs. Rachael is a super friendly host who has setup one of my favorite airbnbs. Highly recommend and will absolutely be back again!

We had an amazing stay at this charming place near the beach. The location was perfect. Was just a short walk to the ocean while still feeling quiet and private. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The rooms were spotless, cozy, and filled with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. Our family of 11 gathered here for a few days, including children ages 18, 11 and 7. It was nice to have bedrooms and a bathroom on the first floor for the grandparents. The kitchen and dining arrangement was fabulous, including an outdoor grill. There were plenty of towels and two sets of laundry machines. Everything was there to have a good time, including kites to fly on the beach and folding chairs for the beach and fire pit. We all enjoyed making s'Mores in the fire pit. The home was light-filled and roomy; however, the living room furniture and hot tub could use an upgrade.

This place was perfect for the 16 of us - 10 adults, 6 kids plus a furbaby! Very spacious and accommodating! It had everything that we possibly needed to make our stay enjoyable! We would highly recommend!

Such a great home for a large party : we were 13 and everyone fit right in. So many helpful touches : best stocked AIRBNB I have stayed in with all the items you need for living/cooking/sleeping/washing/beach and dog life. Our family Absolutely LOVED staying at Rachael’s home! It was spacious, clean, close to the beach. Had a fire pit and hot tub. All ages were happy and comfortable! Would love to stay here again!

The house was great ,close walk to the beach, lots of room,the kitchen and dining area work ed great for what we wanted. The hot tub could use some help, the cover and water, but we didn't have much time to use it because we were always on the go.

The best Airbnb because of the thoughtful detail, pristine home, and welcoming vibe. We couldn't have asked for a better host or stay. To start, the home was stocked with everything needed to play at the beach, sit in the hot tub, cook meals, have pets, entertain small children, or just relax. We never felt stressed to supply ourselves with paper towels, coffee, laundry detergent, shampoo, etc.. Everything was very thought out and hospitable. We cannot say enough about the location, home, or host. We had a great time and will be returning!

Everyone absolutely loved the house. We had a wonderful time there. The house was in excellent working condition and had everything we could possibly need. It was everything we imagined and more! Our host Rachel is very kind and made sure we knew she was available if we needed anything. She contacted us the morning of our vacation to let us know the house was clean and that we could check in early if we wanted to. She was very accommodating and great to work with! Can’t wait to visit again!!

My family and I booked this spot for an annual grief retreat to celebrate our late daughter's 5th birthday. Our entire group (6 separate families) enjoyed this home. The kids enjoyed the games and toys, the single people enjoyed the firepit and hot tub, and the parents enjoyed how well stocked this home was. Everything you'd need was in place! Not to mention the quick walk to the beautiful beach. Best part by far. Thank you for providing such a great experience!

This was our second time staying here and we loved it just as much as the first! Racheal was so responsive and when we had the tiniest little issue (can opener struggles) she had it resolved right away. We loved how easy it was to walk to the beach and the clean spacious home made us feel comfortable right away. 10/10!

We couldn’t be happier to offer a 5 star review. Our host was so easy to communicate with and proactive, thinking ahead and providing for our wants and needs. The home is beautiful and spacious for our extended family trip. There were plenty of both inside and outside toys for the child in our group and the fenced yard (access is through the garage side door) helped with our pups tremendously. Just a short, easy walk to the beach and a quick drive to town where we never had trouble parking. I highly recommend this home.

Fantastic place and a great host. Accommodations are so plush! An example: Some places you get a set of beat up pots and a plastic spork in the kitchen. Here? Le Creusset, kurig, a fantastic oven. Great stay can’t wait to return.

Great Space, beautiful beach with private access. Host has thought of everything, you are wanting for nothing! Sweet extra touches, like a basket full of things to make smores around the fire pit with the family. Dog friendly and very clean.

Had a wonderful staycation! Location was close to the beach. Kitchen was well equipped. Plenty of bedrooms. Couldn’t figure out how to increase the temp of the hot tub though that was stuck at 89F with atleast 6 engineers in the group. Haha. 😊

Rachael had everything you can think of that a large family would need. She even supplied extras and you can she goes over and above to make sure her guests are comfortable. Highly recommend staying here with large family or group gatherings!

We had a great stay at Rachael's place. It was so easy to find (we arrived at midnight in the rain) and easy to get inside. Instructions sent in advance were very helpful. The home was BIG and the furniture was cozy. There was six of us and we had lots of room to spread out. It was the perfect layout for a family of 6. The teenagers each had their own room upstairs and the two adults stayed downstairs. The kitchen was so well stocked with pots and pans and all the extras. With 4 teenage boys, we cooked our meals and lacked for nothing! The pathway to the beach was so nice. Literally only about 150 feet to the beach. We made a beach bonfire both nights, even though it was drizzling and enjoyed the ocean sounds and smells. The house even came with some firewood bundles, fire starters, matches, and s'mores! Although the cost was a little higher than some other homes, it was well worth it in the attention to details and the little extras. The boys already have plans to return ASAP!

Our whole family met and stayed at Rachael’s place. It suited all 12 of us SO comfortably. The home was fully stocked with everything we needed! It was a short very charming walk to an incredible beach. She provided us with fire wood (which we were not able to utilize due to rain) and s’more fixin’s! The hot tub was perfect for the chilly days! Overall would recommend and would stay again!

It was incredible. There were 5 of us and we had so much room we didn’t even use two of the bedrooms. We were so comfortable we didn’t even go out to eat as we had planned. Very quick trail to the most beautiful beach. Rachael could not have been kinder or more helpful! Can’t wait to go back again!

Rachael’s Place exceeded our expectations! This is the nicest beach house we have ever rented! Rachael anticipated and provided all that we needed for our larger family gathering, adults and little children alike. The place was beautiful, spacious, clean and comfortable and Rachael had helpful labels and instructions throughout the house. We loved the hot tub, the enclosed side yard for the kids to play in the sand, abundant beach toys and equipment, complementary s’mores and firewood and even a karaoke machine! The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful and we enjoyed the sandy walk to the beautiful beach. We were so blessed to be able to stay here!

Rachael’s place was absolutely perfect for our gal-group of eight. The kitchen had everything anyone could want or need, and the house was spotless!! The hot tub was wonderful, and we enjoyed sitting out by the fire-pit, chatting away. I felt right at home the minute I stepped into the house, and, if I could have taken the lower bathroom shower home with me I would have! Rarely have I felt this at home in a rental. My own family will be back there when we can manage to all gather together again. A perfect place to enjoy family and friends, and I am anxious to go back!!

This place was great! Comfortable, private, clean, and a lovely little walk to the gorgeous beach. It was well-appointed and super comfortably outfitted. The hot tub is clean and professionally-maintained, the kitchen is comfortable and functional, there's plenty of seating, all the bedrooms are all private, and there are lots of great spaces to hang out, play games, or watch TV. It's also better set up for kids than just about any AirBnB I've stayed at — the primary suite has a little room with supplies, including a baby monitor. The water pressure is strong, the coffee setup has lots of options, and check-in and check-out were both easy-peasy. Rachael was proactive and responsive, though the place was so well-set up and instructions were so clear that we didn't need anything! We would happily stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at Rachael's place. We were able to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary with a total of 12 people and 6 couples. We each had a comfortable and private bedroom. We took advantage of the ocean just a short walk away, the hot tub several times, we had a dance party and fire on the patio, great meals in the well stocked kitchen and enjoyed viewing the Olympics in the comfortable living room. We played pickleball in the mornings in the town of Wheeler about 20 minutes north (4 nice courts available), my parents had a nice brunch at Grumpy's and we drove to Tillamook 25 ish minutes south. We all high remind this place and area.

We really enjoyed this house for our family reunion. The house felt much bigger than what was pictured. It was clean and well stocked with all the extra things we needed for our stay. We especially loved the sand in the backyard for the kids, the toys, kites, and beach items. Rachael responded quickly through the app. We loved how close the beach was!

This was a Family Reunion gathering -- in the making since almost a year ago -- of several generations; we all delighted in reuniting in such lovely premises. Rachael was responsive and friendly throughout the process and we are so thankful that we chose Whale's Tail.

My family had a wonderful time in Rockaway. The house was so perfect and accommodating for a large family. Plenty of space where we could all get together and so close to the beach. The walkway to the beach was awesome. The had was so well stocked we had everything we needed and then some! We were all so so pleased.

We had a family reunion there. Guests were age 1 to 74. Lots of room for everyone, separate spaces for kids and adults when so desired. Short walk to the beach. Lots of thoughtful amenities. Little goodies to welcome us. Everything was in great shape, lots of kitchenware, beach accessories, stuff for baby. We only needed to bring our own food. A well-maintained, well-thought out vacation rental. Even the light switches were labeled, which was helpful. Hot tub was a hit.

If you are looking for a perfect place for a large group, this is it! Lots of bedrooms with extremely comfortable beds and quality linens, large living area for everyone to be together plus a second living room with a tv and games for kiddos, fully stocked kitchen, clean hot tub, plenty of beach accessories and a short walk to a quiet beach. There wasn’t one thing that could have made this a better place to stay with our group of 6 couples. Rachael was easy to communicate with and had wonderful recommendations, we will be keeping this house on our list for future vacations for sure!

We stayed here with lots of family, which included 7 kids!!! But it accommodated all of us very well. The house was well equipped for families with kids, such as beach toys, a wagon to haul the toys (and a kid or two), plenty of towels, dedicated play area with toys and books, and a fully stocked s'mores kit!! I also can't get over how close the beach was from the house. If you're looking for a family-friendly house and neighborhood that's on the beach, this one would be very hard to beat.

We so enjoyed our stay at Rachael’s house! Stand out things that made us feel extra comfortable were, clearly labeled and plentiful supplies, lots of beach accessories, and little extras for the kids that made them excited to be there (reading new books at bedtime was an unexpected highlight!) The house was clean and very well kept up. I didn’t see the wear and tear that often accompanies short term rentals. We want to come back again and again!

100 percent recommend this Airbnb! It’s super clean, well stocked and awesome location to the beach. We also loved using the hot tub. It was a perfect place for our spring break vacation. I only have great things to say about this place!

A delightful place to stay. Cozy when it was raining and a quick walk to the beach when the rain stopped. Loved, loved the beach access!! Great place to stay for kids, adults and dog (though we didn't bring ours- next time!) We enjoyed the hot tub, found everything we needed in the kitchen for cooking, kids enjoyed the toys & games, beds were comfortable, and I wish my house was as nice as this!

CLEAN!!! Quiet! High Quality beds! I use to manage an Airbnb, my rule is always go Superhost & rent from an individual not a company. This home is now on our list for our yearly big family getaways! Things to appreciate: - Hot tub was HOT, so many times you pay big bucks for the hot tub and it's only set at 102. Let me not forget to say crystal clear water! Newer tub for sure. -Beds were HIGH quality! My nurse back was fine on this trip! -Plenty of space for our 14 members with the right amount of bathrooms -a VERY well appointed kitchen, to include spices and two options for coffee preparation. -Beach toys & children items!! BIG plus here- who wants to drag all that stuff around, even has a cart. -Loved the kitchen table, kitchen front room layout open -SAFE, felt like a family oriented area of Rockaway. Many neighbors waved hello. Conclusion: Best Airbnb stay we've had in a long time!

We had a great family get together at Rachael’s place and had everything we needed to feel right at home. We were steps away from the beach, enjoyed BBQing, s’mores by the fire pit and relaxing in the hot tub. I would stay here again and also recommend to friends/family looking to have a nice beach getaway.

Wonderful home for us to host our family of 13 for Thanksgiving. Everyone had plenty of room and all were able to gather together for dinners and playing games. Rockaway beach is very nice and less crowded than others. Will definitely plan on returning.

The kitchen was very well appointed, and the space was awesome - a common area upstairs for kids, and downstairs for adults. it's in a quiet neighborhood, and only a few minutes walk from the beach. There were lots of great beach toys and towels. We would rent this place again.

This is our second stay with Rachael. We love the location and the short walk to the beach. Rachael gets back to you right away. The house is so well supplied with everything you may need and very comfortable. We had 2 extended families ranging from infant to 73, and it met all our needs. This was the best stocked home we have ever stayed in. Kids, dogs, adults, elderly you name it this was the place to stay. Behind every door I found more things that made my stay easy. Beach chairs, towels, and toys with a wagon to pull it all, extra clean towels were everwhere, a giant smores kit welcomed us, every sized pan and utensil was provided, appliances galore, and more. Lots of extras!! The homeowner checked with us to make sure our checkin went well, they were friendly, sweet, and genuine. I felt like I was staying at a friends house. The only downside was they did not have a personal chef on site to cook my meals!

Rachael's place was awesome! We were a group of five adults, a 7-year-old and two dogs, and we were not lacking for anything. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped (good knives too), the bathrooms were spotless, and the beds and linens were fabulous. This house also had more dog supplies and beach toys than any other beach house we've stayed at. We'd never been to this section of Rockaway Beach before, but it's really chill and lovely. The backyard path to the beach was so convenient, and our kid loved burying and hunting for treasure in the sandy yard. We had a great time!

If you are searching for a nice place to stay along the OR Coast, which can accommodate a large group, look no further than The Whale's Tail. There were 9 in our party; we had expected 12. This place could not have been nicer or more well-suited for our reunion. When my cousins and brother arrived, they just shook their heads. "How did you find this place? It's awesome!" It is very clean, contemporary and nicely decorated, well-stocked with any kitchen utensil, pot, pan, plate, dish, cup or glass one could ever need. There are bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs and down, and each floor has a washer and dryer. Don't worry about running out of towels, soap, or shampoo. In the back is the Webber BBQ, patio furniture, and hot tub. The garage is loaded with kites, beach toys, chairs, and balls for the kids. None of us had ever stayed at a vacation rental that was furnished as well as this one; there was never a need to run to the store to get this or that. This rental gets 5 stars from all.

Our family rented the beach house for a family reunion. We have ages ranging from 1 to 71, toddlers, teenagers, and adults. This home is absolutely lovely and virtually new; beautifully decorated and well-equipped with anything one would need. The beds were super comfortable and the bathrooms spa-like. The main suite is especially luxurious, with a huge bathroom. There was easy access to the beach, and lots of beach chairs, toys, umbrella, etc. The hot tub and outdoor shower were great, and we enjoyed the grill and firepit. There are two living area with large TVs, one upstairs and one down--nice with 13 of us. This house catered to small children, we very much appreciated all of the baby equipment and toys! The kitchen was very well equipped, lots of seating, a spacious pantry, and nice laundry room. We highly recommend this rental. gng

Absolutely perfect place to stay for large families! Our group of 12 adults and 2 kids -across 4 generations- felt right at home! All of the amenities listed were available and there were so many above and beyond touches that made this house truly special. Having the beach just a 2 minute walk from the house was great for the kids. I hope to come back!

Perfect home away from home for the family! The building itself is spacious and well laid out, and it is furnished and well-stocked. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals, from kiddos’ plasticware to serving dishes to a s’mores station for the fire. The private walkway to the beach means you’re a short distance from the ocean, making a morning walk or an evening sunset view just a minute away. Our dog enjoyed his time as well, as they even provided a dog bed, food and water bowls, treats, and more! Rachael was so communicative and responsive from the very beginning, leaving us to focus on planning our family logistics without a worry for the accommodations. Highly recommend this location and this host.

We had a great time, and appreciated Rachael's attention to detail. The beach is very close and easily accessible. Just keep in mind that any restaurants, shopping, or other types of activities will require driving, but we fully expected that and filled our week with short day trips up and down the coast. The hot tub was excellent, and very clean. We didn't have any small children, but there were plenty of games, toys, books, and beach activities there for young kids. Note that we had brought some DVD's, but there is no DVD player in the house, but the streaming options were great. All in all, this is a very nice property, and we were very glad it was available for us.

Rachel's home is absolutely as described and as nice as every glowing review! I loved the S'Mores welcome kit and the fact that I didn't need to bring basics (salt, pepper, foil, etc). This is actually a stocked home where you can relax and cook and have everything you need. The beach supplies in the garage are so well thought out too - chairs, cart, cooler, anything you need for a day at the beach. We will definitely be back and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a well appointed home close to the beach.

First of all, I thank GOD for making this possible to be able to be together on this vacay with my family.Rachael’s place was amazing, very spacious, clean and well equipped with everything you can think of and more. So very close in walking distance to the beach. So much room for all 13 of us. Excellent location to other places like Seaside and Arcadia. A wonderful beach home for my family of five, plus grandma and grandpa. The beach was a very short walk away on a convenient path right behind the house. The home itself was, by far, the most thoughtful airbnb I have ever stayed in regarding how well it was stocked. There were plenty of linens and pillows, along with multiple different mattress types to suit everyone's preference. We visited the cheese factory (15-20 min drive) as well as the Big Tree Trailhead (3 min drive) that I would highly recommend. I would gladly book Rachael's home again!

Rachael’s place was the best Air B&B experience I have ever had! The house was better than the description and had plenty of room for our entire crew. I just inquired about firewood for the fire pit and the next thing I knew, there was a knock at the door with someone delivering wood and supplies for making S’mores 😊. The beach is a short walk away and lovely so don’t hesitate and book your stay.

After a cancer diagnosis, we wanted to take our kids and grandkids to the PNW to create some lasting family memories. Our flights from Utah were cancelled at the last minute. Determined to go on our vacation, we jumped in the cars and made the 14 hour drive. Rachael was so quick and easy to communicate with about our change in plans and was willing to help in anyway. Even offered to find someone to be there to receive and put away a grocery order that was scheduled to be delivered. The home is so beautiful and comfortable. Plenty of room for our family of 14. It was well stocked with everything we needed. The hot tub was a nice feature that the kids enjoyed. The walk to the beach is so close and convenient. Rachael checked in with us to make sure we made it ok and to see if we needed anything. We had a great time. I would definitely recommend Rachael’s home!

It was a very nice house for our family to spend time together at. Loves the extra kid amenities.

This was, by far, the best AirBnB experience I’ve had! All other hosts, you have a new bar to reach! Not only was the house pristine, organized, and well-appointed with amenities we didn’t know we needed, it also felt like an actual home - lived in and cared for as such. While there was plenty of space in cupboards and drawers for our own personal things, there were essentials around that today’s AirBnB hosts simply no longer pay mind to (i.e., a cupboard full of spices, extra phone chargers and power cables, dog leashes and harnesses, food storage containers for leftovers, board games, pacifiers and wall plug covers…I could go on!) This was the perfect stay for our weekend rotating group of 12 ladies. We spent the last 30 minutes taking photos of pillow tags and rug labels so we can buy them for our own homes. 100% the best way to celebrate my 42nd birthday! Thanks, Rachael and family.

Rachael was such a lovely host, and her beach home is fantastic. Just what we needed to have a special ladies' weekend. It was a stressful week with some surprise inclement weather, and Rachael was in excellent communication helping us assess travel conditions and plans. I have had some real dud rentals on the Oregon coast and unresponsive hosts-- this couldn't be any more different. The house is warm, comfortable, and well appointed. Everything we wanted (needed!) to relax, connect, walk on the beautiful beach, and share a lot of laughs and great food. We'll be back!

We had such a peaceful and present weekend! Rachael was very helpful and responsive. The home is very spacious and the beds are very comfortable and cozy.

Exceptionally clean. Great quality linens a nice bonus. Plenty of room and access to the beach not far from the jetty.

Rachael's place was the perfect spot for a holiday gathering of 10 people. Sleeping options were plentiful, kitchen and great room were perfect, and the secondary media room on the second level was also used a great deal. The weather was a little rough during our stay, so we appreciated the extensive media options including the access to the full Spectrum line-up and multiple streaming options. Rachael also provided some great local recommendations and was always very proactive and responsive.

We had a giant crew for our Christmas at the beach, and this place was one of our favorite spots we've ever stayed. Rachel was fantastic, always communicative and friendly. The place was huge, and amazing, full of wonderful little details. She even had a Christmas tree, and a sign that said "Christmas is better at the beach." We felt right at home. Highly recommended.
